Tubing<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/a> is the conduit used to transport crude<\/strong><\/a> Oil<\/strong> or natural gas<\/strong><\/a> from the producing formations to the field<\/strong><\/a> surface<\/strong><\/a> facilities for processing after drill<\/strong><\/a>ing<\/strong><\/a> is completed. During the extraction process, the octg<\/strong><\/a> tubing<\/strong><\/a> must withstand the pressure<\/strong><\/a> and it must be adequately strong to resist loads and deformations associated with production<\/strong><\/a> and workovers. In addition, tubing general<\/strong><\/a>ly is size<\/strong><\/a>d to satisfy the expected rates of production of Oil and Gas<\/strong><\/a>. That is because if tubing is too large<\/strong><\/a>, we will have an economic impact beyond the cost<\/strong><\/a> of tubing oil and gas itself, however, if \u00a0API<\/strong> tubing is too small<\/strong><\/a>, it will restrict the production of oil or gas, and if things continue this way it will impact subsequent economic performance<\/strong><\/a> of the well<\/strong><\/a>. Generally, tubing is manufacture<\/strong><\/a>d in the same way as Casing<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/a>, except an additional process known as \u201cupsetting\u201d which is applied to thicken the Pipe<\/strong><\/strong><\/a>s<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Outside diameter<\/strong><\/a> of tubing is from 1.660\u201d to 4 1\/2\u201d (42.16mm to 114.3mm); Wall thickness<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/a> is from 2.3 PPF to 26.10 PPF (3.57mm to 9.52mm). Based on the standard of api 5c<\/strong><\/a>t<\/strong><\/a>, iso<\/strong><\/a>11960, GOST, and their steel<\/strong><\/a> grade<\/strong><\/a> are from H40, J55<\/strong><\/a>,<\/strong><\/a> N80<\/strong><\/a>, N80Q, L80<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/a>, L80-1, L80-9Cr, L80-13Cr, P110<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/a> etc. As you know the Length<\/strong><\/a> range is R1 (6.10-7.32M), R2 (8.53-9.75M), R3 (11.58-12.8M), R2 is used frequently. Besides EU and NU end type<\/strong><\/a> could be provided by Anson, IJ and premium<\/strong><\/a>s thread<\/strong><\/a> type are also available.<\/p>\n
